I am Vice President of the QGIS Peru Association and a member of the QGIS Spain Association. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at the National University of Engineering (Lima, Peru), and I promote technological activities, metrics for the progress and use of QGIS in Peru, as well as the promotion of the use of open-source software in educational institutions (public and private, schools and universities), and in the private sector (environmental, social, health, education, retail). I also provide translation services through Transifex in various languages ​​and participate in support roles at different international events (FOSS4G 2019, QGIS International 2023, FOSS4G 2024, QGIS LATAM 2024, Python Norte 2025).

Mammoth Geospatial has been actively advocating QGIS in Australia and the Pacific for several years, with a focus on QGIS training, support, implementation, and organising community-focused meetup events.

I focus a lot of my work on development and managing the QGIS infrastructure and trying to help with communications. I also write plugins in Python and help with directing and mentoring the activities of our dedicated QGIS team.

I have been a funder for 5 years, then in charge of QGIS community relations at Oslandia, as well as an individual contributor, involved in French QGIS community at OSGEO-FR, and since 2 years an elected member at the PSC.

I create and maintain hundreds of hours of free and open learning materials on QGIS. Have been working with the community and regularly give talks at conferences and open days to promote adoption of QGIS. I also support the project financially through my academy - Spatial Thoughts - which is a sustaining member and a QGIS certifying organization.

I’ve been involved in QGIS for many years, contributing ideas, helping shape the project, and supporting its community. As Chair of the QGIS.org Association, I focus on governance, sustainability, and ensuring the project evolves in a balanced and practical way. I created QField and have previously developed plugins and some core features, but today my work is mainly strategic and community-oriented. I also help drive events and outreach, including organising the QGIS 2026 User Conference.

As a Charter Member of the OSGeo Foundation, I am a dedicated advocate for the QGIS ecosystem and a key organizer within QGISBrasil. I have led major community milestones, including the 2014 QGIS Brazil Meeting, 2021 QGIS Open Day, and 2024 QGIS LATAM. My work focuses on democratizing FOSS4G through technical tutorials, and documentation translation. By bridging academia and public service, I strive to ensure open-source geospatial tools remain accessible and powerful for the global community.

I have been contributing to QGIS since 2014, when I created my first tutorial video. Since 2016, I have developed QGIS plugins and actively supported the QGIS Cyprus community. I founded the online QGIS Cyprus community in 2019. From 2020 onwards, I had the idea and started producing changelog videos for every QGIS release, helping users stay informed about new features and improvements.

I’ve been a dedicated QGIS contributor since adopting version 0.6 in 2005. I began teaching QGIS courses in 2009. I’m a QGIS author who has published 11 books. Since attending the 1st QGIS Conference in 2015, I’ve regularly attended conferences teaching workshops & holding talks. I helped develop the QGIS Certification program & review applications. I co-organized the QGIS North America 2020 Conference. I served as the User Group Coordinator for the QGIS US User Group from 2018-2024.

I am a board member of the Dutch QGIS User Group and one of the coordinators of the QGIS Certification Programme. Furthermore, through (open) education, I try to reach many students from the Global South to use QGIS and participate in this fantastic community.

Specialised training for the mineral exploration and mining sectors over the past 10 years. Based in Perth Western Australia and carried out training both in public workshops, in-house company training and on-line training sessions. Strong advocate for the adoption of QGIS in the Western Australian mining industry. A member of the QGIS Australia organising committee.

QGIS Contributor since 2013 with multiple roles: I write changelogs, moderate the issue tracker by testing versions and reporting bugs, coordinate the Italian user group and national conferences. I create documentation, courses and training materials, translate the interface into Italian, propose new features and financially support the project as a sponsor.
