Quantum GIS is managed by the Project Steering Committee (PSC), a five member committee that provides technical guidance, community liason, release management, and financial/marketing activities. All members have equal standing and voice in the PSC. You find a more detailed description of the roles here.

Community

Beside the PSC roles the work of the QGIS project management process is spread between many, many people from the community who each have a specific area of resposibility. To be able to contact someone about a particular aspect of Quantum GIS, we try to provide an up-to-date Project Organigram with a list of different jobs and the e-mail addresses to use in order to contact the people responsible for the different tasks. This list is probably not complete and therefore does not cover all the volunteers involved in the QGIS project. We would be thankful for any help updating the organigram.
