Why do I get an error about uic or moc not being found?

{mos_sb_discuss:2}Both moc an uic are part of Qt and must be in your path in order to compile QGIS.

Make sure that QTDIR is set by using export QTDIR=
Add the Qt bin directory to the path using PATH=$PATH:$QTDIR/bin
